Mark Durand est un artiste/cinéaste queer basé à Hope Town, en Gaspésie. Il est animé par la réalisation, la photographie et le montage image de film d'art, expérimental, documentaire et d'essai. En quête d'une liberté alternative, c'est à travers ses œuvres qu'il partage son désir de créer des changements positifs dans le monde. Sa démarche artistique est intimement liée à l’environnement et laisse une grande place au jeu et à l’expérimentation.

Mark Durand is a queer artist/filmmaker based in Hope Town, Gaspésie. He is driven by the filmmaking of art, experimental, documentary and essay films. In search of an alternative freedom, it is through his works that he shares his desire to create positive changes in the world. His artistic approach is closely linked to the environment and leaves a lot of room for play and experimentation.
